Recircle featured in Solaris Biotech case study on process development for sustainable rubber recycling
Bioprocess Engineering Services (BPES) has published a feature on the Solaris ONE benchtop bioreactor, highlighting how Recircle is using the platform to advance its enzyme-based rubber recycling technology.
The article describes how Recircle's enzymes target and break down chemical bonds in rubber waste, converting it into reusable resources. The Solaris ONE provides the controlled environment (temperature, pH, and dissolved gas) needed to optimise enzyme performance as Recircle moves from lab-scale testing toward pilot and industrial operation.
Recircle was featured alongside cultivated-meat CDMO ExtraCellular, both cited as examples of how flexible bioprocessing platforms are supporting the development of next-generation biotech applications.
